Professor Choi In-ah of Physics won the Korea Astronomy Society Award

Choi I-na, a physics professor at University of Seoul, won the 22nd Young Astronomer Award on October 13 at the 106th Autumn Conference of the Korean Astronomical Society held for three days from October 12.

The Young Astronomer Award is given to members under the age of 40 with outstanding academic achievements, and Choi has been recognized for her outstanding research on the creation and evolution of galaxies, especially the role of active galactic nuclei and black holes, through numerical simulations and analysis of observational data.
